We got them for our sons so that it might be easier to tell them apart if they take them to their friend's homes; and also we had hoped that they might stay on better than the stock strap. They don't however, we still use a little piece of tape to help secure it to the guitar.

As an adult Rock Band Junkie I found the stock guitar strap to be a bit short and narrow enough to begin bunching up over the shoulder area. I bought these straps and what a big difference. More comfort on the neck and lots more length. I can't imagine these straps not being long enough for even the lowest slung guitar. Well worth the money.
